Psalms 34:4-6

Fear is a torment. It grips our hearts, clouds our minds, and holds us back from living fully in God’s peace. Yet, as believers, we are reminded that fear is not of God. The Bible reassures us that “God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind” (2 Timothy 1:7).

Psalm 34:4-6,-” I sought the Lord, and He answered me; He delivered me from all my fears. Those who look to Him are radiant; their faces are never covered with shame. This poor man called, and the Lord heard him; He saved him out of all his troubles.”

When we call upon God in our distress, He hears our cries and delivers us from all our fears. His presence surrounds us like a shield, providing comfort and strength. Let us take refuge in His promises, for those who look to Him are radiant with joy and their faces are never covered with shame.

𝐒𝐭𝐞𝐩𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐅𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐝𝐨𝐦 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐅𝐞𝐚𝐫

1. Seek the Lord: Take intentional time each day to pray, read Scripture, and seek God’s presence. Acknowledge your fears and bring them before Him in prayer (Psalm 34:4).
2. Trust His Promises: Meditate on Scriptures that speak to God’s faithfulness, protection, and peace (Psalm 91:4-5; Isaiah 41:10). Let these promises anchor your heart and mind.
3. Replace Fear with Faith: Choose to shift your focus from fearful thoughts to God’s power, love, and sovereignty. Memorize and meditate on verses like 2 Timothy 1:7 that affirm a spirit of courage and sound mind.
4. Persist in Prayer: Fear may not disappear overnight. Stay committed to daily seeking the Lord in prayer. Trust that He hears your prayers and will deliver you in His perfect timing (Psalm 34:6).

By following these steps, rooted in faith and reliance on God’s promises, you can experience His peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Embrace each step with trust and perseverance, knowing that God is faithful to bring deliverance from fear as you seek Him earnestly.
