Psalms 34:4-6
Fear is a torment. It grips our hearts, clouds our minds, and holds us back from living fully in God’s peace. Yet, as believers, we are reminded that fear is not of God. The Bible reassures us that “God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind” (2 Timothy 1:7).
Psalm 34:4-6,-β I sought the Lord, and He answered me; He delivered me from all my fears. Those who look to Him are radiant; their faces are never covered with shame. This poor man called, and the Lord heard him; He saved him out of all his troubles.”
When we call upon God in our distress, He hears our cries and delivers us from all our fears. His presence surrounds us like a shield, providing comfort and strength. Let us take refuge in His promises, for those who look to Him are radiant with joy and their faces are never covered with shame.
